Horse Training

Steve Allred has been a professional horse trainer for over 30 years and he is assisted by his son Sam. They are both members of the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF), American Saddlebred Horse Association (ASHA), and the United Professional Horseman’s Association (UPHA). Steve is also a recognized judge, licensed by the USEF.

Heritage Farm specializes in the training of American Saddlebreds, Roadster and Hackney horses.

Saddlebreds are a very versatile and extremely beautiful breed of horse. Steve, Sam, and the amateur riders that they train, compete at local horse shows and also on a national level, receiving top recognition and awards. Saddlebred show horses are trained to compete in either the five gaited, three gaited, fine harness or pleasure division. They also make excellent pleasure mounts and trail horses. Most of the horses are we train are trained to both ride and drive.

We offer a diversed selection of quality horses for sale at all times. Heritage Farm accepts horses for training, and a limited number of horses for boarding.
